In just nine easy steps!
Step 1: Steal the empty diaper box your eldest was using as a baby dino trap for your youngest (who was the baby dino).
Step 2: Cut a strategically placed hole in said diaper box, like so.
Step 3: Bribe your child into participating with popcorn and promises of viewing the pictures later (but then wait 2 weeks to upload the photos. Muahahahaha!)
Step 4: Cover the entire damn thing in small pieces of green construction paper while your fellow team members ignore you and threaten to dump your newly laundered..umm...laundry on the floor.
Step 5: Take a cuddle break.
Step 6: VOILA! Unveil the finished product! What a good colourer am I! And just look at that Popsicle ladder! An engineering marvel, I'm sure.
See how the hole is now neatly disguised?
Step 7: Final inspection.
Step 8: Bait the trap. Various Google searches reveal that the little buggers like their Lucky Charms.
The hole is under the pile of marshmallows near the pot of gold. Various Google searches also reveal Leprechauns are greedy, so I know he'll fall for my oh-so-realistic depiction of coins in a cauldron.
Step 9: Another photo break.
The Morning After
Got him!
Oh, wait, no. Looks like Sneaky O'Neil is never far from his pair of shot glasses, which he somehow used to prop up the box enough for him to escape. We'll get you next time, Sneaky.
What an awesome project Megs. It looks great!!! My kids want you to be their mom LOL
ReplyDeleteYour kids might need to step aside and allow Megs the latitude to become a certified Children's author dealing in Mother Goose type documentaries. It is my prayer that she doesn't fall off the rails and move over to the dark side of writing. If she does Stephen King is toast as her creative imagination make King's books look like mediocrity.
